His highness chaired yesterday the General Assembly of the Eastern Chamber Committee for Patient Friends
Saud bin Nayef: Thanks for all the support either by effort or money for the Eastern patients Friends Committee
East Chamber is a pioneering experience and similar committees benefited from it around the Kingdom
Governor of Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz said during the General Assembly of the Committee of patients Friends, which was held Sunday April 12, 2015 at the East Chamber that the Saudi society, including members or the institutions are close to the suffering patients group that need to take care of, and each of us has passedthis stage one way or another and patient always in dire needs to find the hands of a caring touch or visitor to visit. The Prince said, who chaired the meeting, that the patients may be without family or may have be coming from distant places, or some of this their relative are in far places from them, this work makes us feel that the morale of these patients after visiting them will be different and elevated one form or another , because the psychiatric factor for the patients is so important andwhat you are doing affects the patients morale in a positive way, and we say thank you from the heart for everyone supporting either with their effort or money or any kind of contribution with us in the Commission , you have my sincere greeting and I ask from God Almighty to doubles the reward and return to you this gesture double foldIn your money and in your health and in your children and to protect you from any harm.
He said His Highness that the kindness and goodness and charity in our dear country stems from the teachings of tolerance of our religion which receives voluntary work in general, and charity in particular, and all its institutions in the Kingdom that care and support and encouragement from our wise leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Actsand Crown Crown God protect them, and this support has always been from God's help the reason to continue this work and develop and provide the reasons for the success of its institutions.
HRH said that the success of the Committee of patients Friends in the region encouraged many people to participate in the work of volunteer work, public service and we saw a lot of similar committees set up in various regions of the Kingdom, came under different headings but they all benefited from the pilot experience achieved by your committee, which success had echoes widein all regions of the kingdom.
At the conclusion of his speech, he thanked the general director of health affairs in the region and the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Khaled Al-Shaibani and chairman of the East Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Alotaishan and also thanked the committee members and all hands contributed to the patients' service in order to draw a smile on their faces, and we should all salute and thank themon their efforts in community service, and prayer that Allah grants a speedy recovery for patients and for the good of all.
For his part, Dr. AlShaibani said that the committee has always received the care, support and attention from your Highness and we offer you our sincere thanks and appreciation for your efforts you are making to the citizens and residents in the eastern region, and for the elevation and the growth of this generous country.
Dr.AlShaibani said the committee was founded in the year 1402 and at the hands of a group of businessmen in the region in partnership with some of the officials.Their goal was and continues to promote the "humanitarian" work and serve patients from the children and people of the region and its citizens, provided through its outstanding performance and sense of responsibility towards the society, the model in the importance of "partnership" and cooperation between the civil authorities and government agencies in the service, the financing support to help patients has exceededbusiness contributions to the 2014 amount of four millions six hundred thousand riyals, We ask God to make it in the balance of good deeds.
Dr.AlShaibani said: Your Highness participating in the programs, including visiting patients and their clinic and reassuring them and the services provided to them had a significant impact on easing of their suffering andtosoften them as it is the impact extends to us in the health sector and brotherhood supporters of businessmen had its role in sophistication the work and services in the Committee, may God grant everyone for all of this good deeds.
He added, "I would also like Your Highness to give thanks to the former general director of the Health Affairs Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Salhi on his clear efforts in continuing the work of the Commission and the businessmen who support the activities of the Committee, reflecting the success of the voluntary and humanitarian work in the region, and the high level of awareness of the importance of participating and empathy, cooperation and a sense of the value of works of righteousness and charity and its importance in the public service."
In conclusion, His Highnesstheeastern region prince honored the supporters and thanked them for their contributions and kind generosity also he honored His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Salhi former Committee Chairman for his efforts during his presidency of the Commission as Chairman of the Committee, Dr. AlShaibani has presented a trophy to His Highness the Emir of the region.
